Framed Art
What started as a large necklace became a riot of color and textures in a deep shadowbox. Peacock feathers pick up the colors of fuzzy, metallic and nubby fibers. $195
In needleweaving, as in nature, no two snowflakes are exactly alike. This example, created for a Snowflake Ornament workshop, now hangs from a faux pine bough.
One of six shadowboxes created for the 2010 Artful Dining Gala, a fundraiser for the Brown County Art Alliance. It features a needlewoven Tulip Poplar leaf and handmade blossom of silk and polymer clay. The seedpod's for real.
